The third generation CAN bus transceiver

The release of ISO 11898-2:2024 in March this year marked that the maximum speed of the third-generation CAN bus transceiver has been increased to 20Mbit/s, with a maximum data rate of 2048 bytes. This transmission bandwidth fills the speed gap between CAN and Ethernet.
