Tesla plans to use TSMC's 3nm process chips

Tesla plans to start TSMC's 3nm process chip foundry plan next year. It is expected that TSMC's non-automotive-grade N3P process will help Tesla build the next generation of FSD chips. TSMC's N3P process is expected to be put into production in the second half of 2024. Compared with the N3E process, the speed can be increased by 5% at the same power, or the power consumption can be reduced by 5%-10%, and the density is 1.04 times the original.
