Melexis’s Position in the Automotive Sensor Market

Melexis is one of the world's top five automotive sensor suppliers and has extensive localization experience. About 90% of the company's revenue comes from the automotive business, providing an average of 18 chips for every new car in the world. In 2022, Melexis' global chip shipments exceeded 1.9 billion, with sales reaching 836.2 million euros. Although the final data for 2023 has not yet been announced, sales in the first three quarters showed an upward trend, reaching 228.6 million, 236.7 million and 248.6 million euros respectively. In the Chinese market, Melexis has been deeply involved for more than 20 years, with teams in Shanghai and Shenzhen to capture local customer needs.
