Application and advantages of bridgeless totem pole PFC

A fully bridgeless totem-pole PFC using four SiC MOSFETs can improve the efficiency of the PFC stage by 1.2%, which combined with the inverter upgrade can achieve a net efficiency improvement of 1.6%. This is equivalent to a 60% reduction in total losses.
