Wolfspeed's SiC technology enables power conversion in electric vehicles and industrial applications

Pranjal Srivastava, strategic market developer at Wolfspeed, shared in a webinar about the advantages of SiC-based power electronics in low-voltage industrial motor drives. By using SiC power electronics, the efficiency, thermal performance and power density of low-voltage motor drives can be significantly improved. Higher switching frequency can also reduce the size and volume of passive components, thereby saving system cost and reducing its size.
