Tianyu Semiconductor submitted its prospectus to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and plans to go public through an IPO in Hong Kong

Guangdong Tianyu Semiconductor Co., Ltd., referred to as "Tianyu Semiconductor", submitted a prospectus to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 23, 2024, preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong. Founded in 2009, the company is China's first leading supplier of silicon carbide epitaxial wafers. Its main business is the design, research and development, and manufacture of various types of silicon carbide epitaxial wafers. According to Frost & Sullivan, in 2023, Tianyu Semiconductor ranked first in China's silicon carbide epitaxial wafer industry in terms of revenue and sales, with market shares of 38.8% and 38.6% respectively. Globally, its epitaxial wafer market share is about 15%, ranking among the top three in the world.
