The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) expressed concern about the Biden administration's decision to launch a Section 301 trade investigation. John Neuffer, president and CEO of the association, said that China is a major player in the global semiconductor industry and is working to develop an "independent and controllable" semiconductor industry.
