Battery enterprise supporting situation: CATL occupies half of the market

In the 382nd batch of new energy vehicle announcements, a total of 11 battery companies participated in the matching. Among them, CATL ranked first with 47 models, with a market share of 49.5%. EVE Energy, Fudi Battery and Honeycomb Energy ranked second with 8, 8 and 7 models respectively. In addition, two new battery factories, Times Changan and Yaoning Technology, were added in this period. Times Changan was established on June 28, 2023 and started production in March 2024. It took less than 10 months from its establishment to production. Yaoning Technology is a subsidiary of Geely Group. In 2022, it acquired Anchi (producing lithium iron phosphate batteries) and its production address is in Jianhu, Jiangsu.
