Northvolt seeks additional bankruptcy financing and plans to submit a long-term financing proposal by the end of January next year

According to Reuters, European lithium battery giant Northvolt is actively seeking additional bankruptcy financing. At present, the company has contacted more than 100 lenders and investors. Northvolt declared bankruptcy on November 21 and received a $100 million loan from Swedish truck manufacturer Scania. However, this loan is not enough to support Northvolt to complete the entire bankruptcy reorganization process, so the company is still looking for more financing options.
