The results of the 2024 National High-tech Zone Evaluation were announced, and Zhongguancun Science Park performed well

On December 23, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the evaluation results of national high-tech zones in 2024. The results showed that Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park, Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park and Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone ranked the top three in the comprehensive evaluation. Among them, Zhongguancun Science Park ranked first in many indicators, including high-tech industry operating income, per capita technology contract turnover and the number of high-quality enterprises. However, in terms of the intensity of corporate R&D funding, Zhongguancun Science Park ranked only eleventh. It is worth mentioning that a total of 15 parks in the Yangtze River Delta region were selected.
