"White Paper on the Development of China's Lithium-ion Battery Recycling, Disassembly and Cascade Utilization Industry" released

EVTank, Ivy Economic Research Institute and China Battery Industry Research Institute jointly released the "China Lithium-ion Battery Recycling, Disassembly and Utilization Industry Development White Paper (2024)". The white paper shows that with the gradual establishment of "alliances" between formal enterprises, waste batteries have gradually returned to formal channels, and the actual recycling volume in 2023 is 623,000 tons. It is expected that by 2028, China's lithium-ion battery recycling capacity will reach 10.242 million tons/year.
