FAW Jilin is in operational difficulties and employees have not been paid for several months

FAW Jilin Automobile Co., Ltd., a state-owned automobile company, has recently fallen into serious operating difficulties. According to insiders, the company has stopped work and production since June this year due to sales falling short of expectations. Many employees also said that they have not received their wages since August, and they hope that the leaders of FAW Group can hold talks with employees and give corresponding solutions. FAW Jilin owns the commercial vehicle brand Jiabao and the passenger car brand Senya. Despite the support of FAW, FAW Jilin's sales have been declining year by year. From 2017 to 2018, the sales were 56,000 and 27,300 respectively, and by 2019, there were only a pitiful 3,520 vehicles left.
