Lumentum acquires Hong Kong optical module manufacturer Cloud Light

Lumentum, an American optical component supplier, has acquired Cloud Light Technology, a Hong Kong optical module manufacturer, for US$750 million. Cloud Light is mainly engaged in the design, promotion and manufacture of advanced optical modules. It is headquartered in Hong Kong, China, has a R&D center in Taiwan, China, and has its own advanced factories in South China (Dongguan) and Southeast Asia.
