TSMC's 2nm fab capacity target set, total capacity to reach 110,000 to 120,000 wafers by 2027

TSMC's Baoshan and Kaohsiung 2nm factories will enter the capacity expansion stage after achieving mass production. It is expected that by 2027, the total capacity of the two factories will reach 110,000 to 120,000 pieces. Both factories will produce the first-generation 2nm and the second-generation back-powered N2P. In addition, TSMC also plans to mass produce the 1.4nm (A14) process in the second half of 2027, which may be located in Taichung.
