Key factors behind Tesla FSD V12 version exceeding expectations

The reason why the FSD V12 version exceeded expectations is attributed to Tesla's accumulation and leadership in algorithm computing power and data. First of all, the multi-host production has improved Tesla's computing power, from about 19,000 NVIDIA A100/V100 chip computing units before July 2023 to 300,000 A100s by the end of the year. Secondly, the important changes in the algorithm architecture from V9 to V12, such as the rewriting of the underlying visual algorithm, pure visual solutions, and the application of end-to-end large models, have optimized the regulation and control module, and added new functions such as recognizing signs and gestures. Finally, the accumulation of user numbers and mileage also played a key role in the software capabilities of FSD.
