Energy storage system prices will drop significantly in 2023, but key areas will remain profitable

At the beginning of 2023, the unit price of energy storage system integration was about 1.6 yuan/Wh, and has now dropped to about 0.7 yuan/Wh. In this price reduction process, the overall system price has dropped by about 0.9 yuan/Wh, of which the battery price has dropped by about 0.5 yuan/Wh and the other parts have dropped by about 0.4 yuan/Wh. Although the market is concerned that domestic energy storage may become a seemingly prosperous but unprofitable market, actual data shows that some key areas such as temperature control and PCS still maintain a relatively high gross profit margin.
