Israel's VisIC Technologies and Austria's AVL collaborate to develop high-efficiency GaN inverter technology

VisIC Technologies Ltd of Ness Ziona, Israel, and AVL, a transportation technology company in Graz, Austria, announced a collaboration to advance high-efficiency GaN inverter technology for the electric vehicle market. The goal of this collaboration is to provide automotive OEMs with power semiconductors that outperform silicon carbide (SiC) while reducing both device-level and system-level costs.
