Samsung Foundry cuts prices by 5%-15% to improve capacity utilization

Samsung has reportedly recently cut prices for its foundry services by 5% to 15% in order to attract more customers and improve capacity utilization. This move is mainly due to the current market demand being lower than expected and facing competitive pressure from TSMC. At the same time, this has also brought challenges to Taiwanese foundries such as UMC and World Advanced.
