Japan's Hamoner has high quality in the field of harmonic reducers and has conducted multiple rounds of verification with Tesla. In 2023, the company completed its production expansion (from the previous 1.3 million+ to 1.3 million), and the surplus production capacity can meet Tesla's early needs. The large-scale manufacturing of harmonic reducers can achieve automated production, and the main equipment comes from Japan. From a cost perspective, overseas is not higher than domestic. The current high selling price is mainly a pricing strategy issue. There are many companies both overseas and domestically that are carrying out large-scale expansion of harmonic reducers. For Tesla, this is not an urgent need, and it can calmly test and determine suppliers.
