SAIC Motor's export profits were good last year and are expected to continue to grow this year

SAIC exported 1.2 million units last year, of which 670,000 units under SAIC International's responsibility achieved good profitability, with an average profit of 10,000 yuan per vehicle. Export profitability of other cooperative brands and commercial vehicles is relatively weak. This year, SAIC expects exports to reach 1.35 million units, of which SAIC's exports will account for 750,000 units. Despite facing the EU's anti-dumping investigation on Chinese auto exports, SAIC is fully prepared and expects a result in June, which may lead to increased tariffs. To this end, the company has launched new models based on the global 3.0 architecture to maintain cost competitiveness.
