Toyota plans to open new factory in 2027

According to Nikkei, Toyota has identified land for the construction of a factory in Shanghai, and the factory is expected to be put into operation around 2027. The factory will specialize in the production of Lexus electric vehicles, and plans to use more than 95% of local Chinese parts.
