Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba denies embezzlement

Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has denied allegations of misappropriation, saying most of the 1.3 trillion yen came from unspent coronavirus relief funds, which he explained were initially returned to the national treasury.
