BYD signs 1.1GWh energy storage system procurement agreement with Grenergy

BYD and Spanish company Grenergy have reached a 1.1GWh energy storage system procurement agreement for the Chilean Oasis de Atacama energy storage project. BYD will provide 2,136 sets of MC Cube energy storage equipment for the project. The project is located in the Atacama Desert in Chile and is planned to have a 4.1GWh battery energy storage project and a 1GW photovoltaic project.
