NIO plans to launch new brand "Firefly" in European market

Chinese electric car manufacturer NIO announced that its new brand "Firefly" will land in the European market in the second half of 2025. The brand's first electric car has the design elements of Honda e and is expected to have good handling and spacious interior space. In addition, Firefly also plans to establish an exclusive battery swap station network in Europe, which costs only one-third of NIO's existing battery swap stations.
