CATL and Avita jointly launch high-safety skateboard chassis

On April 2, 2024, CATL and Avita announced that Avita will become the world's first new energy brand to adopt CATL's high-safety skateboard chassis. This chassis has the safety performance of no fire or explosion in a 120km/h head-on collision, aiming to create a new standard of safety and luxury for China's new energy vehicles. The rock chassis is the world's first pure electric chassis technology solution with ultra-high safety standards. Through CIIC integrated intelligent chassis and CTC technology innovation, it can absorb more than 80% of the vehicle collision energy and achieve 120km/h frontal collision without explosion or fire, far exceeding the global NCAP five-star safety 56km/h head-on collision speed standard.
