However, starting this Sunday, employees of Tesla's 4680 battery department and battery materials department will no longer have to wait for emails. As far as we know, Tesla has appointed a new head for the 4680 battery department, Bonne Eggleston, who then convened a meeting of all employees in the department and announced a suspension of layoffs, but the goal of reducing costs must be achieved by the end of the year.
