Volkswagen Mexico announces $1 billion investment plan

On February 20, 2024, Volkswagen de Mexico announced an investment plan of approximately US$1 billion to boost its electric vehicle business in central Mexico. This is another major move following the US$763.5 million investment plan announced at the end of 2022.
