Toyota and Idemitsu team up to produce solid-state batteries

Toyota has reached an agreement with petrochemical company Idemitsu to jointly mass-produce solid-state batteries. The technology is expected to be commercialized in 2027-2028, and the two parties will focus on the research of sulfide solid electrolytes.
