Samsung SDI to supply batteries for Hyundai Motor

Samsung SDI has reached an agreement with Hyundai Motor to supply batteries for its electric vehicles to be launched in Europe between 2026 and 2032. The batteries will adopt a square cell design and use a high-nickel cathode and a silicon-containing anode. This is the first cooperation between Samsung SDI and Hyundai Motor in the field of electric vehicle batteries.
