CATL's battery products are used in multiple models, and the Yibin factory expands production capacity

In 2023, CATL's battery products were successfully applied to multiple models such as Ideal, Zeekr, and Chery. Despite the sluggish battery market, CATL still decided to expand the production capacity of its Yibin plant. The P5 expansion project of the plant has been approved with a total investment of 6.374 billion yuan, which is expected to increase the annual production capacity of lithium-ion power batteries by 61GWh.
