xAI completes $6 billion financing, with Nvidia and AMD participating

xAI, a generative artificial intelligence company founded by Elon Musk, announced the completion of a $6 billion Series C financing. This round of financing attracted the participation of many well-known investment institutions and technology giants, including A16Z, BlackRock, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Kingdom Holding, Lightspeed Venture Partners, MGX, Morgan Stanley, OIA, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Sequoia Capital, Valor Equity Partners and Vy Capital.
