Recently, CATL announced the test results of its Supercharged battery under low temperature conditions. At -20°C, the battery only takes 24 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%, showing that it has super fast charging speed even under low temperature conditions. This battery is the world's first lithium iron phosphate 4C supercharged battery, and it is first installed in the Star Era ET model. It can last 400 kilometers after charging for 10 minutes. In addition, when the battery power is 20% and the ambient temperature is -25°C, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km is 5.46 seconds, and the battery discharge power is not affected. This achievement is expected to solve the problems faced by northern users in winter, such as slow charging of electric vehicles and reduced battery charging and discharging power at low temperatures.
