Panasonic and LGES to compete for Tesla orders in 2024

Both Panasonic and LG Energy Solutions plan to start mass production of 46800 batteries in 2024, which will trigger competition between the two companies for Tesla orders. Panasonic originally planned to start production in fiscal 2023 (ending March 2024), but later postponed the time to the first half of fiscal 2024 (ending September 2024).
