Tesla plans to reduce rare earth use in electric vehicles

Tesla plans to implement rare earth-free motors in its next generation of electric vehicle models to reduce the use of rare earths. Previously, Tesla used induction motors without rare earth permanent magnets, but later switched to permanent magnet motors.
