Mitsubishi Electric and Coherent Collaborate on 8-inch SiC Products

Mitsubishi Electric and Coherent have maintained a long-term cooperation in the 6-inch SiC business and reached a cooperation on 8-inch products in May last year. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), and Coherent will supply 8-inch n-type 4H SiC substrates for Mitsubishi Electric's new 8-inch SiC factory in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
