BYD Brazil plant increases investment to RMB 7.9 billion

Recently, BYD announced that it would increase its investment in its electric vehicle factory in Brazil to 5.5 billion reais, or about 7.9 billion yuan. This move is aimed at accelerating factory construction to meet growing market demand. BYD's Brazilian factory will include three factories, producing electric bus and truck chassis, new energy passenger cars, and lithium iron phosphate battery materials.
