Aurora plans to put driverless trucks on the road this year

The autonomous driving company Aurora announced that it has completed the design, architecture and hardware of the Aurora Driver autonomous driving technology and will work with German automotive supplier Continental to produce thousands of driverless delivery trucks by 2027. Currently, Aurora has about 30 autonomous delivery trucks running on Texas roads, delivering 75 shipments per week for customers such as FedEx and Uber Freight.
