BMW and Mercedes-Benz jointly establish charging technology company

BMW and Mercedes-Benz recently established a joint venture in Beijing, Beijing Yianqi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which focuses on the research and development and operation of new energy vehicle charging facilities. The registered capital of the new company is RMB 100 million, with each party holding 50% of the shares. It is planned to build at least 1,000 advanced super charging stations in China by the end of 2026.
