Infineon Technologies signs multi-year supply agreement with II-VI (now Coherent)

Infineon has signed a multi-year agreement with II-VI (now Coherent) to purchase 6-inch SiC substrates from it. It is understood that with the large-scale expansion of II-VI (now Coherent)'s Pennsylvania factory, by 2027, II-VI (now Coherent) will produce approximately 1 million 6-inch substrates domestically at its Pennsylvania factory each year, increasing its production capacity by at least 6 times.
