KYEC Group withdraws from semiconductor manufacturing business in China

Due to the impact of risks, King Yuan Electronics Group, the world's largest professional testing company, decided to withdraw from the semiconductor manufacturing business in mainland China. The company's deputy general manager and chief financial officer Zhao Jingyao announced the news at a major information briefing. King Yuan Electronics sold approximately 92% of the shares of Suzhou Jinglong Technology in mainland China for approximately 4.885 billion yuan (approximately NT$21.7 billion), and the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter.
