Infineon Technologies and Amkor Technologies cooperate to establish a new packaging and testing center in Bordeaux, Portugal

Infineon and Amkor Technology, a semiconductor packaging and testing service provider, announced an expansion of their partnership and plan to build a new packaging and testing center in Porto, Portugal. The center is expected to start operations in the first half of 2025. Amkor's factory in Bordeaux focuses on semiconductor packaging, assembly and testing, and will expand and establish a clean room production line in the future. Infineon is responsible for providing product design and development.
