Volkswagen Group launches new electric architecture in China, to produce compact electric vehicles from 2026

Volkswagen Group has launched a new electrical architecture in China called China Main Platform (CMP), and plans to use this architecture to produce compact electric vehicles starting in 2026. This move reflects Volkswagen Group's investment and innovation capabilities in the Chinese market, as well as its emphasis on the Chinese auto market.
