Chao Na New Energy was founded in August 2021 by a research and development team led by Professor Jiang Yinzhu, a doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development of core materials for sodium-ion batteries and completed its Series A financing in June 2023 with a financing amount of more than 100 million yuan.
