BYD plans to invest 9.33 billion yuan to build a car factory in Indonesia

BYD announced that it will invest about 9.33 billion yuan to build an automobile factory in Indonesia, with an estimated annual production capacity of 150,000 units. This is BYD's fifth electric vehicle factory established overseas, with the other four located in Thailand, Uzbekistan, Brazil and Hungary. In addition, BYD also plans to establish up to 50 sales outlets in Indonesia.
