Mazda and Panasonic sign battery supply agreement

Mazda Motor and Panasonic Energy announced that they have signed an agreement to supply cylindrical lithium-ion batteries for vehicles. The two parties will announce the specific details of the cooperation in due course. Previously, Panasonic Energy discussed with Mazda and Subaru to establish a medium- and long-term partnership for the supply of cylindrical lithium-ion batteries for vehicles, and signed a basic agreement with Subaru on March 19 this year.
