Schaeffler takes over drive specialist Vitesco, increasing global workforce to 120,000

Following the successful takeover of drive specialist Vitesco in October, Schaeffler's global workforce has increased from 85,000 to 120,000 employees. This increase means that the company has accounted for 4% of its total workforce among the announced 4,700 global layoffs.
