BYD sodium-ion batteries are mass-produced and installed in vehicles

It is reported that BYD's sodium-ion battery has been mass-produced and installed in the second half of 2023. The first model equipped with this battery is BYD's A00-class microcar Seagull. The sodium battery version of Seagull is expected to be priced at 60,000 yuan and has a range of up to 300km.
