Volkswagen seeks to cooperate with France's Bollore Group to develop solid-state batteries

Volkswagen is in talks with Blue Solutions, a subsidiary of the French Bollore Group, on the development of solid-state batteries. Volkswagen hopes to apply this potentially "game-changing" technology to electric vehicles. Blue Solutions already produces solid-state batteries for Daimler electric buses. Volkswagen and Blue Solutions plan to reach a joint development agreement in the coming months.
