20,000 electric heavy trucks will drive the development of 60GWh lithium battery market

According to the plan of the Ministry of Transport, by 2026, the country will have promoted the use of battery-swap heavy trucks for no less than 20,000 vehicles. Based on the average battery capacity of 300kWh per electric heavy truck, this will create a lithium battery market demand of about 60GWh, bringing new development opportunities to industries such as automobiles, lithium batteries, energy storage, and charging and swapping station construction.
