Dongfeng Nissan expands recall of new Qashqai and X-Trail vehicles, totaling 25,715 vehicles

Dongfeng Nissan announced an expanded recall of 25,715 2021 model year new Qashqai and X-Trail vehicles. Among them, there are 24,722 new Qashqai vehicles, produced between October 20, 2021 and December 1, 2021; there are 993 X-Trail vehicles, produced between October 27, 2021 and December 23, 2021. The recall is due to the offset of the welding position of the right front triangle arm, which may cause the triangle arm to crack and cause safety hazards. Dongfeng Nissan will inspect and replace the affected vehicles free of charge.
